Special Parts Manufacturing Inc., formerly known as Chaffin Manufacturing, began in 1978 in Atwood, Oklahoma. Kenny McDonald and George P. Brown Jr. purchased Special Parts Manufacturing in 2012.
Kenny McDonald and George P. Brown both had worked for the company under the direction of David Chaffin. Kenny served as the Vice- President of Chaffin Manufacturing from 1980 to 1995, as well as working for Special Parts Manufacturing as Operation Manager from Feb 2012 to August 2012, when he and George purchased the business. George had worked for Chaffin Manufacturing as a machinist and also worked for Special Parts Manufacturing as Mill Supervisor from 2011 to 2012.
